Your next commitment. Still in sight.
You know it’s in your calendar. Then you get absorbed in work. Riverlet is a browser extension concept that keeps what’s next beside your tabs, so you can see when it’s time to start getting ready.

The first version will focus on people who work in Chrome and already use Google Calendar. Keep your calendar. Give what’s next a place beside your work.
Keep it visible
Your calendar is on another tab. You forget to check it.
A side panel you choose to keep open as you move between browser tabs.
See time remaining
You know the start time, but lose track of how close it is.
A moving river plus clear countdowns to your next commitment. A quiet view when movement feels distracting.
Prepare to switch
The reminder arrives when you should already be ready.
Set preparation time and get a gentle heads-up before you need to switch.
Questions
Can I install it now?
Not yet. This is an interactive concept, not a working extension. The first working version is being planned for Chrome on desktop.
Do I have to move my calendar?
The plan is to connect Google Calendar with read-only access. Riverlet will show your events without changing them. Other calendar providers are for later consideration.
Will it always be visible?
The side panel is intended to stay beside your work while you keep it open in Chrome. It won’t sit above other desktop apps. A floating desktop companion is a possible later step.
Is this for people with ADHD?
Riverlet starts with a familiar experience for many people with ADHD: losing track of time while absorbed in something. We’ll test it with real users; different people will prefer different amounts of movement and prompting.
What about phones and desktop widgets?
Chrome comes first. Phone apps, desktop widgets and other browsers are not part of the first version.
What will it cost?
Pricing is undecided. We plan to test a small beta before choosing a paid offering.
Help shape the first version.
We’re looking to learn from people who work in Chrome, use Google Calendar, and still get caught out by what’s next.
